The Inverary Resort

The Inverary Resort is the only property in Baddeck situated right on the magnificient Bras d'Or Lakes. The main lodge was originally built in 1850 with the historic charm still evident today.

This 11-acre resort property offers a vacation getaway that combines rugged charm and elegance with natural adventure. At the Inverary you can go salt water fishing, play tennis, volleyball or badminton, enjoy an afternoon on the water with paddleboats, canoes and kayaks and when the sun begins to set enjoy a Cape Breton bonfire on the beach.

We have a full service newly expanded spa with a variety of packages that will relax the body and soul. Plus spend time at the indoor pool, fitness centre or relax in the whirlpool or sauna. Dine with us on the water's edge at Lakeside at Inverary Resort. We have a new menu with a variety of entrees to choose from including exceptional seafood dishes. The Thistledown Pub is a great place for an evening nightcap where you can enjoy local entertainers and a largest selection of wines, beers and ales on the island.

From mainland Nova Scotia, take the first exit into Baddeck. The Inverary Resort in on Shore Road, on the right. From the East via Sydney, take the first exit into Baddeck and follow the #205 to Shore Road. The Inverary Resort is on the left.
