Annual Christmas
Parade - December 5th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Beginning at
Baddeck Academy school, down Chebucto Street. Santa visit
following the parade at Bras d'Or Yacht Club, Boy Scouts Christmas
Tree sale, Christmas Specials at local businesses, non - perishable
donations may be made to local food bank.
Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site
Enjoy Children's Corner daily with kite-making and experiments along with the

Dart - Birthplace of Canadian Aviation, Baddeck
In 2009, Baddeck will be celebrating
the 100th Anniversary of the Silver Dart, - First
flight in Canada and the British Empire. The Silver Dart Centennial
Association has organized a year long program full of events and
activities for everyone to enjoy. Some of these events include
Youth in Aviation Week, Silver Dart Centennial Air show, aerial
Experimental association comes alive in July & August, Silver Dart
Centennial Aviation week at Alexander Graham Bell national Historic
Site, & Bell Kite Festival and Harvest Home picnic.
