McBroom
himself has been quoted to say “The
most dramatic land was saved for the finishing holes, and they
are exhilarating to say the least, and they amount to what I believe
is one of the best finishing sequences anywhere.”
Our signature hole is Number 17, which plays
as long as 182 yards from the back tees and forces the golfer to
carry an environmentally safe buffer zone to a pocketed green surrounded
by trees, on the other side. Once you complete this hole you continue
to walk up to the 18th hole where you stand staring at a panoramic
view of the Bras d’Or Lakes. We are pleased to be complimented
on the fairness of the golf course and the conditioning of the
course as well. Bell Bay offers not only great golf, but also a
golfing experience to remember, with our exceeding expectations
oriented service, to our quality dining experience.
We
do take pride in being the first non-metallic spike golf course
in Atlantic Canada. All around people are starting
to rave about Bell Bay Golf Club. Awards: Best New Course in Canada
